2nd time purchasing this boot and have been wearing STC boots in the 6" version for the last 5-6 years.
Great boots for use in and out of the shop.
I'm a mechanic and these boots on the regular see all kinds of elements.
Water, mud, oil, grease, chemicals and solvents.
Never before running STC boots was I able to have a boot last over a year.
I have always gotten a pair of new boots just before the winter season and kept my old pair as work boots at home.
I've worn my last pair from August 2023 until today December 10th 2024. 16 months in 1 boot!
Mink oiled every month or so
I still dont have any worn holes other than a abrasion on the very top of the boot by my toe cap
The left boot has worn on the inside of the heel to make putting boots on and off a little more of a pain and the wear is likely self inflicted.
Fairly inexpensive boot
Really good quality
Dont care that its vegan but whatever material is used seems to be built well and stands up to some of the worst conditions it could be in.
